The nice weather continues. . .cool days (mid-50's) and cooler nights (into the high 30's / low 40's). The trees are changing and painting portions of the landscape in shades of yellow, gold, orange, red and plum. There is still plenty of green around too. Today has been exceptionally quiet here. . .Adam at work, Dax in Vancouver for the week-end and the girls are "hangin' with friends" for the day. Ron, the dogs and cats have all found little niches in which to catch 40 winks as the sunlight pours in on them through the windows.
I have been puttering here and there, I finished reading Eat Pray Love this morning. I really enjoyed it and was amazed how true the movie stayed to the book. She has a few good pearls in there that caused me to stop and ponder a bit too.
I had an hour and a half conversation with Melissa this morning (She said to say "Hi", Mom and your place falls in among her fond memories). It was really good to get caught up with her again. That's all from North of the 49th for today. . .
