All the soldiers are dropping one-by-one. Everyone in the house is sick now; except Dax, he started it all!!!

I never did make it to my lab on Tuesday night, so I will really have to do well on the rest of them to make up for it. Then, Wednesday morning as I walked out the driveway I noticed the ice crystals floating around in the air. The temperature was around -15 C. 5 minutes later I was feeling sick (feverish) and frantically running 1/2 block on the icy sidewalk with my book-bag over my shoulder and fervently praying I catch the bus (which was a few minutes early). Fortunately, the bus driver waited for me, but it took me quite awhile to catch my breath once on the bus, and when I did, I coughed for about half an hour straight. I can't imagine why I'm not able to shake this sickness!!!

Today I drove to school, but I was quasi dis-oriented half the day i.e. I thought I had missed one class that hadn't even begun yet. Halfway back to the truck, I realized my mistake and did actually make it to lecture on time.

Tomorrow is a "bus day" and I hope not to repeat the same scenario as yesterday. There is a fine balance, you don't want to be standing in the cold waiting for the bus for too long, but if the bus is early, there is the whole "sprinting in the icy-air" thing. I have a calculus quiz tomorrow, but I think it will probably be pretty much a wash. I also have a physics assignment due and I don't even know where to start with it right at the moment. Maybe my mind will clear up enough to get them done.

Enough whining for one blog. . .thanks for "listening". . .see ya.
