WT Strikes North of the 49th!

This is my thumb after nearly 4 hours waiting in the ER and shortly before getting 5 stitches in it today.

For those that don't know, my grandfather Wilford T. was always slicing, dicing and abrading himself somehow. Those genes appear to be alive and well in my mother and me. This morning, shortly after Ron left, I was washing dishes when a glass platter broke in my hands and sliced my thumb a tad. I *did* have a lot of things planned for today. . . well, there goes that! I had to call Ron and ask him if he was able to come take me to the hospital as it is hard to hold pressure and drive at the same time. . .oh well, It was a beautiful day for a drive (even a short one) and the swans always make me smile as we go past them in their field.
