It has been hectic as usual. This week I made almond roca, two types of Christmas cookies and a bunch of different mints. Most of it is packed for our trip. I did manage to get the family photo together and all the Christmas letters finally went out today.
We are in the process of packing up and preparing for the trek to Vancouver Island for the holidays. We aren't sure where everything will fit in the Suburban yet, as we won't be towing the trailer this time.
We have been getting snow off and on. . .we may have 6 inches on the ground now. It has been bitterly cold all week. The temp has been right around 0 Fahrenheit during the day and -10 or so over night. It looks like we may be travelling into a storm when we leave, so it could be an interesting drive.
