Things are still the same here, too much to do, not enough time, money and energy to do it all!

This morning I was working on my paper when I realized it was time to take the girls to the gym. We rushed out and I got them there just barely on time. I was headed up the hill to deliver the 'Burb to Ron's job, when I realized I forgot my bus pass and cash at home. OK. . .so now I have to backtrack, pick up my stuff at home, drive across town, drop the 'Burb and since I am now late, I figure I missed the bus that stops 2 blocks from the store. As I am power walking to the mall bus stop, about 5 blocks away, the bus I thought I had missed, passes me. AH WELL. . .on to the mall, where I sit in a huge puddle of water on the bench while waiting for the bus. . .(BRRRR It was COLD). I did manage to make it to class on time, so I guess everything worked out OK. Now, I need to get back to the schoolwork, since I have procrastinated myself into a corner with it.

Good to hear the news from South of the 49th! Let's pray for the Obama family's safety. There are plenty of rabidly bigoted nut-jobs out there. I was very impressed with McCain's concession speech and it sounds like President Bush is being very gracious too. Good for them, let's hope their followers will follow their lead in this too.
