I was able to snap this shot of the frozen North Thompson River on the way home from church today. It was a beautiful day and around 30 degrees F, so it has warmed up considerably.

Today was filled with BIG changes. As most of you know, we will have a new First Presidency this week. On a local level, we had a special "combined" meeting at church today. The 2 Kamloops wards have been lopsided and getting more so each day. Our primary had 65 children, the 1st ward had 15. We had a very large youth program, whereas the 1st ward essentially had no youth program. The new ward boundaries were announced and sustained this morning. Several of the kid's friends are now in the other ward. I think about 60-70 people went from the second ward to the first ward. The second ward also picked-up a few of the first ward members under the new ward boundaries. It will be very interesting in the next few weeks to see who is in which ward and who is in which calling now. Ron was released as the Elder's Quorum President, but we have been informed the Bishop would like to speak to us as he has something in mind for us. . .

Kaili has really been down with the ickies again. She stayed home in bed all day yesterday and today. Ron and I are both still feeling less than energetic, but we did manage to get the old dishwasher removed and the "new" one upstairs and installed yesterday. It seems to be working just fine. (The kids are VERY thankful to have it in operation). Next, (this week?) we will need to get the fridge installed. Our old one has several broken shelves, besides being far too small for our gang. The "new" one has an ice-maker and water in the door, which will be really nice.

I think I am going to give the bus a try again tomorrow, we'll see how it goes. . .
